About the Professional Monitoring Service
A professional monitoring service is contacted for Red Alerts that are
activated within the supported geographic regions - the United States
and Puerto Rico. The Moxee Monitoring call centers are redundant,
geographically distributed and located in the domestic United States and
have elevated hiring standards focused on highly educated and former
military individuals.
Once the alert is activated, a professional monitoring service operator
reviews the audio from the alert, the chat log, and, if necessary, contacts
the Account Owner by phone. The professional monitoring service uses
this information to decide whether the alert was accidentally sent, or if
emergency personnel need to go to the Device User. The professional
monitoring service operator will contact emergency personnel from the
local fire department, paramedic or EMT services, rescue teams, and/or
police department, based on the information provided in the alert.
