Normal Operation Detection
For detecting normal operation, the NO
X
monitor can evaluate the load signal of a master control
connected to the CAN bus module of the EasyNO
ₓ
system or to the optional I/O communication
module. Alternatively, the NO
X
monitor can use the absolute charging pressure as an indicator
for the engine load. For this purpose, a manifold pressure sensor can be connected directly to
the CAN bus module of the EasyNO
ₓ
system or alternatively the signal of a manifold pressure
sensor can be forwarded to the CAN bus module via the control cabinet. The threshold for normal
operation detection can be configured.
In conjunction with the optional I/O communication module, there is also the option that a mas-
ter control indicates normal operation via the binary input of the I/O communication module (see
section
Binary Inputs
The status of the normal operation detection is displayed in the
NO
X
Monitoring
view of the
EasyNO
ₓ
(see section
Overview
on page 101). You can configure the normal operation detection
in the
NO
X
Setup
view (see section
Preferences
5.1.8
Daily Log
Every 10 seconds, the NO
X
monitor of the EasyNO
ₓ
saves a complete record of all relevant mea-
sured values, timers, and status values to a daily log on the memory card inserted in the
EasyNO
ₓ
. Selected measured values of the daily logs can be visualized in the
NO
X
History
view of
the NO
X
monitor (see section
History
on page 106). Via the USB interface of the EasyNO
ₓ
, each
daily log can be exported as a CSV file to a USB flash drive (see section
Export
5.1.9
Annual Log
For each calendar year, the NO
X
monitor of the EasyNO
ₓ
summarizes the relevant measured val-
ues and timers of all measurement days in an annual log. This annual log is stored on the memo-
ry card inserted in the EasyNO
ₓ
and contains the following information:
–
Measured values: average, minimum value, maximum value, and standard deviation related
to the measurement day
–
Timers: daily value related to the measurement day and total value related to the calendar
year
Via the USB interface of the EasyNO
ₓ
, each annual log can be exported as a CSV file to a USB
flash drive (see section
Export
5.1.10
Logbook
In a logbook, the NO
X
monitor of the EasyNO
ₓ
logs emission-related events. Additionally, custom
entries can be made in this logbook (see section
Logbook
on page 108). The logbook can be ex-
ported to a USB flash drive as part of the NO
X
monitoring report (see section
NO
ₓ
Monitoring
Report
on page 46). You can maintain the logbook in accordance with standard sheet VDMA
6299:2019-09.
