Installation Constraints Chapter 2: VML750 Installation
The VML750 must not be installed with the cooling fins facing down. Failure to comply
may cause overheating problems and performance degradation.
Figure 2-1 shows a schematic VML750 installation in a car.

Before beginning the installation process make sure that the space available at the installation
site is adequate for the modem and its accessories. Each installation configuration requires
a different area for mounting the modem without obstruction.
When choosing a location, ensure easy installation and replacement of the unit.
Figure 2-2 gives the VML750 dimensions.
