SBV6120 DOCSIS
®
3.0 Digital Voice Modem provides high-speed
Internet access and up to two lines of VoIP (Voice-over-IP) telephone service, thus allowing you
to use one device for your voice and data services over a single network.
The SBV6120 transmits and receives data much faster than traditional dial-up, DSL (digital
subscriber line), or ISDN modems. Unlike a dial-up modem, your digital voice modem is always
online, enabling you to open a Web browser without the long wait.
This guide is an instructional overview on how to install the SBV6120 digital voice modem and
get it up and running.
