and click
Properties
to display the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties
window.

On the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window, verify that the settings are correct, as shown.

to close the TCP/IP Properties window.

to close the Local Area Connection Properties window.

Verifying the IP Address in Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Me
To check the IP address:
