Turning the Power On and Off

39

Standby Mode

To conserve energy, the docked phone may turn off
the backlight in its display when you haven’t
pressed a key for several seconds. The light
reappears the next time you press a key.

Turning the Power Off

To turn off the 9570 Portable Dock’s power:

Press the

S

key on the docked

9500 Portable Phone.

Check Card

The unit detects a SIM card that is
damaged or has been inserted
incorrectly.

(A SIM card in the
9570 Portable Dock’s auxiliary SIM
card slot must be inserted with the
gold plate facing down.)

Blocked

If the phone’s SIM card PIN code
has been activated, and the code is
entered incorrectly three
consecutive times, your phone
becomes blocked. See the
9500 Portable Telephone User’s
Guide for instructions on unblocking
it.

Bad Card

The unit detects a SIM card that is
