Manual Install—Wired Connection
The computer must have an Ethernet adapter installed.
You need two Ethernet cables —
one to connect the RSG2500 to the modem and one to connect the computer to the
RSG2500.
Wired connection

If you are currently running broadband to a single computer, unplug the Ethernet cable
connecting your modem to your PC and plug it into the WAN port on the RSG2500. If
you are not running broadband to a single computer, connect an Ethernet cable to the
WAN port on the RSG2500.

Connect the other end of the same Ethernet cable to your cable or DSL modem.
You may need to restart your modem after making this connection.

Connect a second Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the back of your PC.

Connect the other end of this cable to
one
of the LAN ports on your RSG2500.

To connect more devices, repeat steps 3 and 4.
