Using the Options Menu

Configuring GPRS
1 Scroll down using the ª key to GPRS and press O to
select it. You will be presented with the following options:
1 APN:
2 Username:
3 Password:
2 Scroll down using the
ª
key to APN: and press
O
to
select it. You will be prompted to enter the APN. Press and
hold
C
to clear the field and enter the APN provided by
your ISP. Press $ to toggle between the available text entry
methods (see ‘Entering Text on Your Phone’ ). After
entering the APN press O . You will return to the previous
screen.
3 Scroll down using the ª key to
Username:
and press O
to select it. You will be prompted to enter the User Name.
Press and hold
C to clear the field and enter the User Name
provided by your ISP. (Press $ to toggle between the
available text entry methods (see ‘Entering Text on Your
Phone’ ). After entering the User Name press O . You will
return to the previous screen.
4 Scroll down using the ª key to Password: and press O
to select it. You will be prompted to enter the Password. Press
and hold
C to clear the field and enter the Password which
may be provided by your operator. (Press
$
to toggle
between the available text entry methods, Num (Numerical),
alpha (alphabetical) and Sym (Symbols) (see ‘Entering Text
on Your Phone’ ). When you select Sym a symbol will only be
entered for one character, after which the text entry method
returns to the previously selected entry method. As you enter
a letter the phone will briefly display the letter and then
change to an asterisk (*) for security purposes. After entering
the Password press
O . You will return to the previous
screen.
5 Press $ to return to the Data Bearer screen.
Configuring CSD
1 Scroll down using the

key to CSD and press
O
to select
it. You will be presented with the following options:
1 Phone #:
2 Username:
3 Password:
4 Baud Rate:
5 Line Type:
2 Scroll down using the
ª
key to Phone #: and press
O
to
select it. You will be prompted to enter the Number. Press and
hold
C
to clear the field and enter the number provided by
your ISP. After entering the number press O . You will return
to the previous screen.
3 Scroll down using the ª key to Username: and press O
to select it. You will be prompted to enter the User Name.
Press and hold
C to clear the field and enter the User Name
provided by your ISP. (Press $ to toggle between the
available text entry methods (see ‘Entering Text on Your
Phone’ ). After entering the User Name press O . You will
return to the previous screen.
