Mute On
While on an active call:
Mute Off
While the microphone is muted, you can hear incoming audio, but a caller
cannot hear you speak. You must turn “Mute” off to speak.
Placing Worldwide
SM
Calls
Placing international calls has never been easier. The i2000plus phone and
Nextel Worldwide Service include access to multiple networks so you can get
connected and stay connected.
Use “Plus Dialing” when making calls from one country to another, or within a
foreign country. You can also make international calls from your stored list (see
“Storing Names and Numbers” on page 27) using Scroll, Name Search, Speed
Dial, or Turbo Dial provided you have stored the number with Plus Dialing. To
place an international call using the “Plus Dialing” feature, see the following
section.
Plus Dialing
This feature enables you to quickly place an international call without entering
the local international access code. Plus dialing can be used for
country-to-country calls as well as local or long distance calls in a foreign
country.
