MUTING THE KEYPAD TONES (FOR 
KEYPAD RADIOS ONLY)

The radio’s keypad tones, normally heard each time a 
keypad key is pressed, can be turned off (muted) or on 
(unmuted) at your discretion. To use the keypad mute 
feature
