Managing Memory

To view the amount of memory available for custom ring

tones:

From the main menu, select

Ring Tones

Highlight any ring tone.

Press

Select

Memory Usage

Deleting custom ring tones frees memory.

Note:

Ring tones are stored in your phone using the

same memory space used to store messages,

voice records, Java application data, pictures,

and wallpaper images. Deleting some of these

other items frees memory for ring tones.

Deleting Custom Ring Tones

Deleting a ring tone from the list of ring tones deletes it

from all parts of your phone, including the media center

and Contacts.
Except for DRM ring tones, if you delete a ring tone that

you purchased from your phone, you will have to purchase

it again. Under certain conditions, some DRM vendors will

not charge you if you download an item multiple times

within a given time frame. Please contact the DRM vendor

to learn more about their download regulations.
To delete a custom ring tone:

Scroll to the ring tone you want to delete.
