Power Select
Power Select allows you to toggle the radio
between high and low power per channel. If the
channel you try to program does not support
high power, the radio generates a bad chirp.
The power levels for CP110™ 2W toggle
between 1W and 2W. The default setting is 2W.
Battery Type Setting
The CP110™ Series radio can be powered by
either Alkaline or Lithium-Ion batteries.
Call Tones
Call Tones feature allows you to transmit to
other radios in your group by alerting them that
you are about to talk or alerting them without
speaking.
Scramble
The Scramble feature (
L
) makes
transmissions sound garbled to anyone
listening without the same code. Scramble
default value is OFF.
