Charging a Standalone Battery
For your convenience the battery on the CLP radios
can be charged as a stand alone battery using either a
Single Unit Charger (SUC) or a Multi-Unit Charger
(MUC).
Note:
When acquiring additional chargers or power
supplies, make sure you have similar drop-in tray
chargers and power supplies sets. For part number
details, refer to “Chargers” Section on page 45.
To charge only the battery:
1.
Insert the connector of the power supply into the
Micro USB port on the front of the drop-in
tray charger.
2.
Connect the CLP power supply to a proper AC
outlet.
3.
Insert the battery into the tray, with the inside
surface of the battery facing the front of the
charger, as shown.
4.
Ensure the slots in the battery correctly engage
in the charger.

The following table provides the estimated charging
time of the battery.

page 44.
