208 System Setup

SIM Request

Personal Identification Number (PIN) is the secret code of the SIM Card. You
can preset a PIN to prevent unauthorised users from using your SIM Card.
You can select this function as

ON

or

OFF

.

If you select the function as

ON

, you have to key in your PIN every time you

turn on the phone, failure to do so will mean that you will be unable to use
the phone.
When the Security setup menu shows that

is

ON

(or SIM

Request is

OFF

),

When the PIN is correct, you can change the PIN Requirements to OFF (or
SIM Request is ON) and return to the Security setup menu.
