3.3.d Checking various
accessories
- The bike may be equipped with
other accessories (e.g. baggage
racks, bags, bottle holders, etc.).
- Always check that these accesso-
ries are mounted correctly and are
stable.
No part must move or shift.
No creaks or squeaks must be
heard.
If they move, fix them correctly.
3.3.e Other checks
- Any damaged bike components
(and of accessories mounted) may
have sharp edges, which may
cause injury.
- Check for the presence of any
damage on all components.
Have the damaged parts repaired
or replaced immediately by the
manufacturer or a qualified techni -
cian.
