ABS DEACTIVATION BUTTON (if in-
stalled)
To deactivate the system, proceed as fol-
lows:
•
Start the engine.
•
With the vehicle at a standstill,
press and hold the button.
After roughly three seconds, the
indicator light (ABS) on the in-
strument panel starts to flash.
•
Release the button immediately.
•
Now the ABS warning light on
the instrument panel keeps
flashing slowly; the ABS system
is then completely deactivated.
To activate the ABS system again:
•
Stop the vehicle and shut off the
engine by turning the ignition
switch to "OFF".
•
Turn the ignition switch back to
"ON" and start the engine.
•
Once riding, the ABS system will
be reactivated only after riding
faster than 5 km/h (3.1 mi/h).
IN CASE OF FAILURE OR WITH ABS
DISCONNECTED, THE VEHICLE OP-
ERATES AS IF IT DID NOT HAVE THIS
SYSTEM.

Om het systeem te desactiveren, handelt
men als volgt:
•
Start de motor.
•
Druk en blijf op de drukknop
drukken wanneer het voertuig
stilstaat.
Na ongeveer drie seconden be-
gint de controlelamp (ABS) te
knipperen op het schakelbord.
•
Laat de drukknop onmiddellijk
los.
•
Nu zal de controlelamp ABS op
het instrument langzaam blijven
knipperen; het ABS systeem is
dus volledig gedesactiveerd.
Om het ABS systeem te heractiveren,
handelt men als volgt:
•
Stop het voertuig, en leg de mo-
tor stil door de ontstekingsscha-
kelaar in positie "OFF" te draai-
en.
•
Draai de ontstekingsschakelaar
weer in positie "ON", en start de
motor.
•
Wanneer men rijdt, zal het ABS
systeem geactiveerd worden
wanneer men harder gaat rijden
dan 5 km/h (3.1 mijl/h).
