Partitioning and Formatting by MS-DOS
A new hard disk must be pre formatted before partitioning, but a used hard
disk need not be preformatted if it just needs to be reinitialized. Below is the
process of partitioning and formatting a 10MB hard disk using MS-DOS Ver
3.30.
V- 2.1 Partitioning
1. Boot the DOS from drive A, and type “fdisk” as shown below:
