- The Drum Cradle Truck is designed to handle one drum of the types listed below under Machine
Description. DO NOT attempt to handle any other type of drum or object. DO NOT exceed the weight capacity
of 700 Lb. (318 kg).

- Do Not Modify the Unit. Under no circumstances should any modifications be made to the Morse
machinery without factory authorization. Any modifications may void the warranty. This machine was designed
to perform a specific job and alterations may result in injury to operator or machine.

- No Loose Fitting Clothing. Wear close-fitting clothing and safety equipment appropriate to the job.
Loose fitting clothing may become caught on the machinery and cause severe personal injury.
CAUTIon
- Wear safety shoes with non-slip soles and hard toe protection.
CAUTIon:
DO NOT allow drum to impact on floor, ground, or dumping station, etc.
Machine Description
The model 40 is designed to tilt an upright 55-gallon steel drum to horizontal for dispensing. The top rim of a 55-gallon (210 liter) steel
drum is 18.5” (47 cm) from the floor when in horizontal position on the model 40. Model 40-30 is designed to tilt an upright 30-gallon
(114 liter) steel drum to horizontal for dispensing.
The maximum full-drum capacity is 700 Lb. (318 kg).

Model 31 Tipping Lever sold separately for use with Model 40 or Model 40-30 Drum Cradle assists in
pulling over your heavy drum from upright onto the drum cradle. Constructed with 40” (101.6 cm) steel
tubing with malleable iron double hook to engage the upper rim of your drum.
Maintenance
Periodically inspect all moving parts, framework and contact areas for signs of wear, fatigue or

loosening. Tighten, adjust or replace parts as necessary to prevent failure and maintain proper
function.
Apply a small amount of bearing grease to wheel bearing surface on each axle periodically.
