Brewing coffee

Set the dial on top of
the unit to one or two
cups, as required.

Fill the water reservoir
to the one or two cup
level as appropriate.
Do not overfill the
reservoir, only put in
the exact amount
required.

Swing the filter
holder/s out, ensure
that the permanent
filter has been fitted
and fill the filter basket
with 3 scoops per cup
(adjust according to
taste) of filter coffee
grounds.
When brewing one
cup only, the unit will
fill into the LEFT
hand side. Therefore
put the coffee in the
left hand filter.

Close the filter holder/s ensuring that
they click back into place.

Fit both the thermal cups (with lids in
place) into the unit even if brewing one
cup only.

Plug the drinks maker into the mains
supply.

When the unit is plugged in, the display
will show “00:00” as no time is set. The
red light in the centre of the power
button will show that the power is on.

To begin brewing immediately, press the
power button. The green LED will light as
brewing starts.

Once the unit has finished brewing, the
red LED will glow and the unit will beep
5 times.

The brewing process can be stopped at
any time by pressing the power button.
Warning: Remove the lids with
extreme caution in order to add milk
and/or sugar as required.
Brewing tea

Set the dial on top of the unit to one or
two cups, as required.

Fill the water reservoir to the one or two
cup level as appropriate. Do not overfill
the reservoir, only put in the exact
amount required.

Swing the filter holder/s out, remove the
filter basket/s and put one or two
teabags per cup (according to taste),
directly into the filter holder.
When brewing one cup only, the unit
will fill into the LEFT hand side.
Therefore put the teabag in the left
hand filter holder.

Close the filter holder/s ensuring that
they click back into place.

Fit both the thermal cups (with the lids in
place) into the unit even if brewing one
cup only.

HINT: When brewing into two cups, a
combination of drink types can be
produced. For example: a cup of tea and a
cup of coffee or a cup of coffee and a cup
of hot chocolate etc.
Thoroughly wash the cups and all
removable parts after use, as described in
‘Cleaning care’.
