Setting MIDI output
Press <SETUP> and <SCALE> together.
Press <SETUP> to progress through the menu until you reach the heading
“MIDI CV SETUP”.
Press <EFFECT> to continue.
The “MIDI CC OUT” page will be displayed.
Adjust the settings to match the following:
Pitch: CC 74
Ch 1 Type 7bit
Volume: CC 2
Ch 1 Type 7bit
The <SETUP> button will advance through the options.
The <PRESETS> dial allows each option to be adjusted.
Ensure that both Pitch and Volume are set to Ch 1.
Installing the Max For Live Device
Download
M4LTheremini.axmd
Open Live and right-click the User Library folder to open this in your File
Browser (Explorer on Windows/Finder on Mac).
Add the
M4L Theremini.axmd
file to:
User Library -> Presets -> MIDI Effects -> Max MIDI Effect
