LIBRARY
While on the SETTINGS page, press the LIBRARY Soft Button at the top of the screen to open the
LIBRARY page. From the LIBRARY page, you can create, select, and manage User Spaces; Import
and Export all manner of Moog One data, and set the Category, Mood, and Group names for creating
a searchable database. The left pane shows Library Category; the right pane shows the Menu Options.
Rotating the Master Encoder will select and highlight an item from the list shown in the left pane.
Pressing down on the Master Encoder will move the red-colored cursor to the right pane, where an
individual item may be selected and highlighted by rotating the Master Encoder. The Library Category
will remain highlighted in gray.
UNDERSTANDING THE USER SPACE
The User Space is the current Moog One working environment. All of the Global settings, all of the
Presets, Synths, Modulation Matrices, Sequences, Effect settings, and more exist within the confines
of the User Space. The good news is that multiple User Spaces can be created, saved, and recalled –
either from the internal memory, or from an external USB drive. This is a phenomenal advantage for
the working musician involved with multiple projects at once; with User Space for the gigging cover
band and a separate User Space for that in-progress solo album as an example. Touring musicians
could keep a backup of their User Space and install it on a Moog One provided by the backline
company. The important thing is that the User Space preserves more than just the Synths and Presets.
All of the Global behavior, MIDI settings, Port and Pedal configurations, and even the knob behavior
and LED brightness is saved to create a complete User Space.
SWITCH USER SPACE
Select this command if you want to switch to a different User Space. The available user spaces are
listed in the right pane. Highlight the User Space you wish to load and make active, then press the
MASTER ENCODER
. The selected User Space will load and the ACTIVE USER SPACE message will
appear on the screen.
NOTE
: You cannot load the Active User Space; in effect, it is already loaded. It will appear grayed-out in
the list, and the message ACTIVE USER SPACE will appear when you attempt to highlight it for selection.
