b) Install light
• Decide where to put your light. For example
garden, garage, wall shed, back door, stairways,
etc.
• Using the flat head screws and nylon tube
attach the Fix shelf plate to the place you need
lighting.
• Insert the light back in the Fix shelf.
• Adjust the angle of the light head to make the
light flood cover an area you want to illuminate.
• Do not put the light in an area that is well lit at
night, for example near a streetlight. Doing this
way may stop the sensor from knowing when it
is night time.
5. Operation
• Insert the plug into the solar light. It is at the
end of the wire attached to the solar panel.
• Switch the power button at the front of the
light to the on position.
6. Troubleshooting Information
If your solar light is not working properly check to
see if it could be one of the causes below.
a)The light brightness is low or work flashing
Batteries is not fully charged or needs
replacement.
• The solar panel needs bright light to recharge
the battery. Overcast weather may cause the
battery to loose power. If this happens the solar
panel will recharge on the next bright day.
• Check your solar panel is in an area where
it gets the maximum amount of direct light
everyday. After moving it allow 3 successive
bright days for full charge. With the switch at
“OFF” position.
• Check for things obstructing the solar panel like
over hanging branches, fences or building. If
there are obstructions move the solar panel to
a sunnier place.
• Check the solar panel is clean. A dirty solar
panel will not let the battery charge fully. This
will shorten the life of the battery causing the
light to malfunction. Clean the solar panel
regularly with the damp cloth.
b) Light not turning on
• Check for an external light source like a street
light or porch light, this may be stopping the
light sensor from knowing when it is dark. Move
the light away from the external light source.
• Check solar panel is plugged into lamp.
• Check light bulb is OK
• Rechargeable battery may need charging
overcast weather could have prevented the
battery from recharging check to see if it works
after the next sunny day.
7. Changing Battery
1.
Unscrew cover from back of light.
2.
Remove two clips and take out old battery.
3.
Replace the Ni-MH rechargeable batteries of
same size.
4.
Remount cover
Please recycle the battery.
