Turn the cleansing agent switch to ‘open’ if you want to make use of cleansing agent and
turn the cleansing agent switch to ‘close’ if you do not.
Take care:
Never leave the cleansing agent switch in between positions ‘open’ and ‘close’.
This may cause cleansing agent leakage.
Refilling the water tank
To prevent the pump from running dry, we advise you to keep the water tank filled at all time.
Should the water tank be completely empty it may happen that the pump needs some time to
pump out the air. Follow the following steps to make the device ready for use again:
1.
Pull the plug out of the socket.
2.
Follow the steps under ‘
Filling the water tank
’ at page 19.
3.
Insert the plug back into the socket. The orange indication light lights up. Do not use the
device until the green indication light lights up too.
4.
After about 30 seconds, the green indication light lights up. The device is ready for use.
5.
Press the steam release trigger.
6.
If no steam is being produced after a short time, you repeat the above-mentioned steps.
Refilling the dispenser
1.
Pull the plug out of the socket.
2.
Follow the steps under ‘
Filling the dispenser’
on page 19.
3.
Insert the plug back into the socket. The orange indication light lights up. Do not use the
device until the green indication light lights up too.
4.
After about 30 seconds, the green indication light lights up. The device is ready for use.
5.
Turn the cleansing agent switch to ‘open’.
6.
Press the steam release trigger.
Use of carpet glider
If you wish to refresh or disinfect short piled carpets with the device, use the microfiber cleaning
pad together with the carpet glider.
Make sure the microfiber cleaning pad is attached to the foot while using the carpet glider. Put
the carpet glider on the floor and place the device onto the carpet glider.
Take care:
The carpet glider is loose under the device, so when you lift the device, the carpet glider remains
on the floor. You cannot attach it to the device.
After use
1.
The device can leak water after use. After use, place an old absorbent cloth under the device
so as not to damage the floor.
2.
Pull the plug out of the socket and allow it to cool down completely.
3.
Remove the microfiber cleaning pad carefully from the foot by loosening the drawstring.
Take care:
the microfiber cleaning pad can be hot!
