CHILDPROOF “LOCK-OUT” 

 

 

This remote control includes a CHILDPROOF “LOCK-OUT” feature that allows the user to  

“LOCK-OUT” operation of the appliance from the TRANSMITTER when it is in the “LOCK OUT” mode. 

 

SETTING “LOCK-OUT”  

 

 

 

1. 

To activate the “LOCK-OUT” feature, press and hold the ON and OFF icons on the LCD 

screen together, for 5 seconds.  The lock icon will appear on the LCD screen. 

2. 

To disengage the “LOCK-OUT”, press and hold the ON and OFF icons on the LCD screen 

together, for 5 seconds.  The lock icon will disappear on the LCD screen and the system 

will return to its normal operating condition. 

 

 

 

NOTE:  If the appliance is already operating in the ON mode engaging the “LOCK-OUT” 

will not cancel the operating MODE.  Engaging the “LOCK-OUT” prevents only the manual 

operation of the TRANSMITTER

When plugged into a standard 110-120 VAC receptacle, the remote receiver  

 

 

 

 

 

 

operates on commands from the transmitter or from the slide switch on the top

Changing the Temperature Scale:

The factory temperature setting is Fahrenheit. 
To change the setting to Celsius, simultaneously press 

and hold the ON button and FLAME ICON on the LCD 

screen for five seconds.

Repeat the procedure above to change back to 

Fahrenheit.

Changing the Childproof Lock:

The remote control includes a childproof lock-out feature.
To activate the childproof lock, simultaneously press and 

hold the ON and OFF icons on the LCD screen for five 

seconds. The lock icon will appear on the LCD screen.

Repeat the procedure above to disenge the childproof 

lock. The lock icon will disappear and the system will 

return to normal operation.

Note:

 the childproof lock prevents the transmission of the 

RF signal from the remote. Engaging the childproof lock 

while the appliance is operating will not turn the burner 

off.
