Switch

The gas valve may be connected to a wall switch. Do NOT connect any

external power to the remote switch. The valve will generate its own

power on a millivolt circuit or will draw its power from an AC Connection

inside the fireplace, depending on the model of the unit. Use only low

voltage wire, and  DO NOT connect any external power to the remote

switch. If any of the original wire supplied with the appliance is replaced,

it must be replaced with the same type, or its equivalent.

NOTE: The switch location must not exceed 30' from the fireplace.
