Advices for operation
The machine must not be used without the auxiliary handle 1.

Press the machine only as hard as necessary onto the surface of the workpiece. Higher pressure does not increase the work-

ing speed but increases the abrasion of the belt.
Use the machine on edges only in the lengthways direction. During work pauses, always lay the machine down on
the support points 2 (with the belt pointing downward).
If vibrations or unusual noises suddenly occur, stop the machine at once and check the belt for damage or wear.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The machine requires little maintenance. It is only necessary to ensure that lubrication is provided via the pressu-
rised air.
Before the first use of every pneumatic tool, the motor should be lightly oiled. For this purpose, place 2- 3 drops of oil
directly into the connection nipple 5, also when the air supply is equipped with a maintenance unit.
Should the machine malfunction in spite of careful manufacturing and testing procedures, have the repairs performed
by an authorised customer service location for
MBX
®
pneumatic tools.
For all correspondence and spare parts orders, always include the serial number on the type plate of the machine.
Environmental Protection
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing as waste
The machine, accessories and packaging should be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
The plastic components are labelled for categorized recycling.
