Equipment protection
The maximum allowable operating pressure of 6.2 bar must not be exceeded. Use a pressure regulator, if
necessary.
To avoid damage from contaminated air, a maintenance unit must be used in the air supply system.
Fitting the working tool
Before carrying out any work on the tool itself, disconnect the air supply.
Pull off the outer adaptor system (10). Insert the belt (9) with the tips pointing in the direction of rotation, dismantle
screw (12) and washer (11). Place outer adaptor system (10). Ensure that the adaptor system (8), (10) engages with
the arms (7).
Mount the washer (11) and the screw (12) and tighten with the Allen key (13).
Initial operation
Connect the tool to a compressed air system with a maintenance unit (filter, regulator, oiler).
Continuously Variable Speed Control
MBX
®
Pneumatic Automotive runs with variable speed, depending on the pressure on the valve lever (3). Light pres-
sure results in a low speed and makes smooth, controlled starting possible. In this manner, the best speed can be se-
lected for each operation to be performed.
