8. OPERATING TEST
Perform the function test before starting.
Before performing the test:
• Clean the guides.
• Move all persons and objects away from the lift shaft: risk of injury from
crushing!
• Run the entire lift travel slowly in inspection mode.
8.1 Static test
• Speed governor with manual intervention:
Push the pin 1 UPWARDS (Fig. 25) and press and hold to manually activate the
speed governor.
Allow the lift car to slowly descend until the safety gear is engaged.
• Speed governor with anti-creeping device/remote control:
Trigger the electromagnet from the control panel to manually activate the speed
governor.
Allow the lift car to slowly descend until the safety gear is engaged.
At the end of the test, restore the governor, contacts and safety gear blocks.
