RS-232 CONTROL
This matrix can be controlled from a computer using an RS-232 serial data connection.
When you make the physical serial connection, you will be able to see the matrix on your
PC as a USB device. If it is not already powered on, press the POWER button on the front
panel to power on the matrix.
Next, use your file browser to copy the 4x4 HDMI Matrix Controller.exe software program
from the matrix to your PC, then double-click the program to run the RS-232 control
program. The following sections detail each page in the program.
General Page
The General Page allows you to set the basic communications settings to connect with the
matrix.
1.
Port: Use the drop-down list to select the RS-232 COM port that is connected to the
matrix.

Connect: Click the Connect button to connect the PC with the matrix.
3.
Factory Reset: Click the Factory Reset button to reset the matrix to the factory
default settings.
