Output Connections

Speaker groups can be connected to the outputs (11) in parallel or series
connection (4, 8, 16

) as well as in 100 V technique. The output can alter-

natively be switched to balanced/floating above ground.
A line output is provided at the rear panel as a cinch jack REC (13).

Input Connections

The input jacks (3, 13-15) are connected as desired. Set both selector
switches MIC/LINE (2) for the inputs MIC/LINE 1+ 2 to the corresponding
positions. If a turntable with magnetic system is connected to the

MAG. PHONO (15) or a source to the auxiliary input AUX (14), the sliding
switch (4) must be set to PHONO or AUX.
For cassette/audio tape operation use the AUX input, cinch jack PB (12).

Operation

1) At first set the controls (1+ 7) to “0” position.

2) Connect the mains plug to the mains supply (230 V~/50 Hz). After

switching on the operating LED ON (9) is lighting.

3) Set the input controls (1) as well as the TONE control (6) and the

talk/music switch (5) to the desired values.
Adjust the overall volume with the MASTER control (7). The VU meter
(8) displays the output level.

Battery Operation

The 12 V battery connections (10) are provided at the amplifier rear. The
battery may remain connected even if the amplifier is supplied with mains
voltage again.

This mono PA amplifier with built-in VU meter and talk/music switch is
suitable for universal PA use.

The sliding control MASTER allows to control the overall volume.

With the TONE control the tone can be influenced to a large extent.

Safety Notes

This unit uses lethally high voltage (230 V~). To prevent a shock hazard
do not open the cabinet. Leave servicing to authorized skilled personnel
only. Besides any guarantee claim expires if the unit has been opened.

For the operation also watch in any case the following items:

The unit is only suitable for indoor use.

Avoid excessively warm locations for the unit or high humidity.

Do not set the unit into operation and immediately take the mains plug
out of the mains socket if:
1. damage at the unit or mains cable can be seen.
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or similar accident.
3. there are malfunctions.
The unit must in any case be repaired by authorized skilled personnel.

Never pull the mains plug out of the mains socket by means of the mains
cable.

If the unit is used for purposes other than originally intended, if it is oper-
ated in the wrong way or not repaired by authorized skilled personnel,
there is no liability for possible damage.

For the cleaning only use a dry cloth for dust removing, by no means
chemicals or water.

Important for U. K. Customers!
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the follow-
ing code:
green / yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not
correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your
plug, proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow must be connected to
the terminal in the plug which is marked with the letter or by the earth
symbol 

, or coloured green or green and yellow.

2. The wire which is coloured blue  must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter or coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter or coloured red.

Warning - This appliance must be earthed.
