Close both retaining brackets on the upper and lower ends
of the performance module.
This unlocks the performance module.

The performance module is removed by holding it at
both ends and squarely pulling it away from the base
module.

Once the performance module has been pulled, the base
module can be locked with a padlock; the maximum
diameter of the U-bolt should not exceed 4.5 mm. This
efficiently prevents performance modules from being
plugged (for example, during the commissioning phase).
