6 Making phone calls with your Carephone
5.3 Automatic call pick-up in speakerphone mode
Your Carephone also offers you the function of automatic call pick-up. With automatic call
pick-up any arriving call is picked up automatically after one ring tone in speakerphone
mode.

What is speakerphone mode?
In speakerphone mode it is not necessary to hold the phone directly to your ear; instead you
will be able, up to a distance of 0.5 meters to the phone, to listen and talk to the person you
are calling.

Activation of automatic call pick-up in speakerphone mode:
1. Switch on your phone by holding down the ON/OFF key (fig. 1/9)...
2.... and during the automatic GSM network search (chapter 5.1) hold down the
speakerphone key (fig. 1/ 7) until you hear 2 short beeps and the speakerphone key is
glowing continuously during the entire network search.
