4 Getting started
4.4 Sequence of actions:

Hold down the ON/OFF key (fig. 1/9) until you hear a beep.
■
Automatic search for GSM net:
The blue LED (fig. 1/ 4) for GSM net indication is continuously glowing, while the LED
indicating signal strength (fig. 1/ 8) is blinking alternately green/red.
■
Automatic log-on to the GSM network:
You hear 3 short beeps. The blue LED (fig. 1/ 4) indicating GSM net is flashing continuously,
while the 3 keys 1-3 and the LED indicating signal strength Y (fig. 1/ 8) light up for 4
seconds indicating the successful log-on to the GSM network.
■
Your Carephone is now operational. The blue LED (fig. 1/ 4) is flashing continuously.
