4.2 Charging the battery
Before the initial start-up the battery must first be completely charged. It does not matter at all
whether the equipment is switched on or off.
Before the initial start-up, leave the battery charger connected to your Carephone for at least 3 to 4
hours, until the LED next to the battery symbol (fig. 1/6) turns green. From now on each charging
procedure usually takes only 2.5 hours. The jack for the charging cable is located in the bottom of your
Carephone. The battery does not need to be installed, since it is built-in and non-detachable.
