a: There is a chess piece blocking the king and the rook.
b: The king is being killed by the opponent
c: The position the king passed or reached was attacked by the
opponent's piece.
Pawn promotion:
When any pawn reaches the opponent's bottom
line, the player must promote the pawn into a chess piece among a
Castle, Knight, a bishop or a queen.
The rule of taking pieces:
If the player moves to the position
where there is an opponent's piece, the opponent's piece will be
captured and the square will be occupied.
