11. Some fundamental rules which apply to all electrical devices must
be observed when using the appliance:
•
do not touch the heather with wet hands;
•
do not handle with bare feet;
•
do not pull the electric cord or the device itself to unplug it from
the socket; pull the plug directly;
12. Keep cord away from heat.
13. Do not bring modifications to the product that compromise the
safety.
14. Keep connections dry.
15. Never plunge the appliance in water.
16. If the power supply cord is damaged avoid to use it. Let the
Manufacturer, or the After Sale Service, or some similar qualified
person replace it, in order to avoid any risk.
17. Disconnect the appliance from the supply line, if you don’t use it
for a long time.
18. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply linee before do-
ing any maintenance operation.
19. In case of malfunction or fault, call an Authorized After Sale Ser-
vice, and request original spare parts.
20. The appliance must be properly connected to a distributing box. A
bipolar circuit breaker with contact opening distance of at least 3
mm must be fitted upstream from the supply line, in accordance
with the wiring rules.
21. The energy supply must be done through a properly grounded
circuit.
22. In order to assure an additional protection, it is suggested to in-
stall in the supply line feeding the bathroom a safety switch with
nominal differential current not higher then 30 mA. Ask to the
electrician about this point.
Avoid exposing eyes or skin to the UV-A rays of the appli-
ance for distances less than 1.6 m.
