INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The equipment is designed for the continuous function, it capture
and collect the insects in a sack or drum where they are dehydrated
by the air circulation.
The only needed operations are the collecting sack emptying, the
internal cleaning of the conveyor ring, a periodical lamp cleaning and
their yarly replacement or at break of 2000 hours of use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Before carrying on any cleaning or maintenance operation, make
yourselves sure you have disconnected before the equipment form
electrical supply.
•
Empty the collecting sack and the conveyor ring when the thick-
ness of the insect collected at its internal side overcome 15-20 cm
or more , often the sack mashes result to be obstructed.
•
Check periodically and regularly that the fan turns freely and that
in its external area there is no encrustation; if it happens, clean the
conveyor ring.
•
Before the cleaning of the conveyor ring, disconnect the appliance
from the electric supply, wait till the fan stops, then take the col-
lecting sack and the protection grid away. Remove the plastic con-
veyor ring, clean it by water and a soft brush. When re-assembling,
follow the same steps in reverse order.
•
Clean the lamps from the accumulated dust by means of a soft
brush, do not use for cleaning water sprinkles.
•
Check periodically the protecting grid located between the fan and
the collecting sack. If the gris is evn only a bit obstructed , discon-
nect the equipment from electrical supply, wait for the fan stop,
and then remove the sack. Using a soft brush or a blow of com-
pressed air remove the obstruction.
•
If you notice to have captured useful insects, disconnect the equip-
ment , remove the collecting sack and after have gone away from
site quickly to let the insects come out without stinging you.
