CONVENTIONS USED IN USER'S MANUAL 

The following describes the meaning of the symbols and other 
conventions used in this user’s manual. 

Safety Precautions 

To operate the instrument correctly and safely, Mitutoyo manuals use 
various safety signs (Signal Words and Safety Alert Symbols) to 
identify and warn against hazards and potential accidents.
