10. Laying crankcase on its side
Lay the crankcase on its side.
11. Apply engine oil to bores
Clean the bores with a clean rag and apply engine
oil to the bores.
12. Installing connecting rod bearing
1) Install the connecting rod cap bolts in the big-
end of the connecting rod so the flats of their
heads fit on the connecting rod properly.
2) Install the tipper half of the connecting rod
bearing in the big-end of the connecting rod.
Make sure the tab on the back of the bearing
is in the notch of the connecting rod.
