OIL PUMP LUBRICATION SYSTEM
2. Checking clearance between rotors and cover
Check the clearance with a feeler gage and
straight edge, as shown in the illustration. If the
clearance exceeds the service limit, replace the
pump assembly.

3. Checking clearance between outer rotor and case
Check the clearance with a feeler gage, as shown
in the illustration. If the clearance exceeds the
service limit, replace the pump assembly.

23.3 Reassembly
Put the outer rotor in the case. Make sure the mark on
the case is in alignment with the mark on the cover and
tighten the bolts that hold the cover.
