Peripheral Carriers and Devices
Removing the Floppy Diskette Drive Carrier
1. Observe the precautions in ‘Before You Begin’, at the
beginning of this chapter.
2. Remove the top cover.
3. Remove the access side cover.
4. Disconnect the power cables and the ribbon data cables
from any peripherals in the carrier.
5. Remove the screws (see Figure 11) that secures the
carrier to the main peripheral carrier.
6. Slide the carrier back until the tabs hit their stops.
7. Lift the carrier up and remove it from the chassis.
