Wiring Products
This section describes the devices used for PROFINET.
PROFINET devices
Ethernet cables must be prepared by users. For details on Ethernet cables, refer to the following.
• PI: www.profibus.com
A communication error may occur due to high-frequency noise from devices other than a programmable
controller in a given connection environment. The following describes countermeasures to be taken on the
RJ71PN92 side to avoid high-frequency noise influence.
[Wiring]
• Do not install cables together with the main circuit lines or power cables.
• Place cables in a duct.
Hubs
Use hubs that support the transmission speed of communication when using hub in PROFINET.
When the industrial managed switch (NZ2MHG-T8F2) is used, use the industrial managed switch (NZ2MHG-T8F2) with the
production information (first six digits) of 7104AV or later.
