6 Maintenance and Repair
6.1 Daily Care
Warning
When performing maintenance, always use the DC
disconnector at the bottom of the PV inverter to stop
operations, and set the AC disconnector or GFCI to OFF.
Failure to turn off the product can pose a risk of
electric shock or entrapment in the fan.
Caution
Do not use oils, cleansers, or other such agents as
listed below to clean the PV inverter.
Thinner, alcohol, benzene, gasoline, kerosene,
spray cans, cleanser, etc.
Breakdowns, discoloration, or deterioration may result.
Do not use a wet cloth to wipe the PV inverter.
Doing so could result in electric shock or breakdown.
Wear gloves to wipe dry the PV inverter.
Failure to wear gloves could result in injury when
touching areas around the exhaust openings, etc.
Do not touch areas around the exhaust openings
while the PV inverter is in operation, or immediately
after it has stopped.
Doing so could result in burns due to high temperatures.
Perform the following activities for daily care of the PV
inverter.
Use the DC disconnector at the bottom of the PV inverter
to stop operations, and set the AC disconnector or GFCI
to OFF.
Ɣ
The
CLEAN FILTER
display apears about every 6
months regardless of whether the filter has actually
been cleaned or not. It does not mean an abnormality
has occurred.
Ɣ
Even if
CLEAN FILTER
is not displayed on the LCD
screen, if a large amount of particle adherence is
discovered in the intake and exhaust opening areas,
use a brush to clean them out.
Caution:
Ɣ
If particles adhere to the are intake vent and exhaust
opening areas and the internal temperature rises,
output power may be limited.
6.2 Daily Checks
Warning
Do not open the PV inverter’s front panel.
Fire, electric shock, or injury may result.
Perform the following daily checks. If any of the
phenomena listed below are discovered, contact the
sales office from which the PV inverter was purchased.
(1) Check generated energy
Ɣ
Is the power generation volume extremely small
despite sufficient irradiation levels?
Ɣ
Is the cumulative generated energy showing no sign
of increasing?
(2) Check Error lamp status
Ɣ
Is the Error lamp repeatedly lighting up?
For the first year of operation in particular, perform the
daily checks in order to eliminate imperfections in the
installation conditions, etc.
