Explanation of power supply system
Signal explanation
• For the layout of connectors and terminal blocks, refer to the following.
• If using the MR-J5 servo amplifier with the DC power supply input, refer to the following.
Page 26 Using servo amplifier with DC power supply input
L1/L2/L3 (Connection destination: Main circuit power supply)
Supply the following power to L1, L2, and L3. For 1-phase 200 V AC to 240 V AC, connect the power supply to L1 and L3.
Leave L2 open.
P3/P4 (Connection destination: Power factor improving DC reactor)
If not using the power factor improving DC reactor, connect P3 and P4. P3 and P4 are connected as a factory setting for the
MR-J5-_G_ and the MR-J5-_A_.
If using the power factor improving DC reactor, disconnect P3 and P4, and connect the power factor improving DC reactor
between P3 and P4.
P+/C/D (Connection destination: Regenerative option)
If using a servo amplifier built-in regenerative resistor, connect P+ and D. P+ and D are connected as a factory setting.
If using a regenerative option, disconnect P+ and D, and connect the regenerative option between P+ and C.
L11/L21 (Connection destination: Control circuit power supply)
Supply the following power to L11 and L21.
