LOADING AND INSTALLATION

(3) Grounding

(a) Carry out the independent grounding if possible.
(b) If independent grounding is impossible, carry out the shared grounding (2) as 

shown below.

(c) Use thick cables up to 2mm

. Bring the grounding point close to the 

programmable controller as much as possible so that the ground cable can be 
shortened.

(d) If any malfunction occurs due to grounding, disconnect either or both of the LG 

and FG terminals of the base unit from the ground.

CAUTION

Ground the FG and LG terminals to the protective ground conductor dedicated to 
the programmable controller.
Failure to do so may result in electric shock or malfunction.
