This chapter describes the functions available in the safety remote I/O module, and the setting procedures for those functions.
For details on safety remote I/O signals, remote control/monitor signals, and remote buffer memory, refer to the following.

Safety Input
This function safely inputs external signals. This function cannot be used in any modes other than the safety drive mode. All
the safety remote inputs (SA\X) are off in any modes other than the safety drive mode.
Safety input wiring selection function
The safety double wiring function or safety single wiring function can be selected for input wiring.
Safety double wiring function
The safety double wiring function supports double input wiring.
By verifying input signals of double wiring, safety inputs can be turned off even if one of the signals has an error.
In the safety drive mode, the power supply current terminal for input device (COM+) and 24V output of the T0/T1 terminals are
enabled.
■ Combination for double wiring
Use the following combinations of input terminals for safety double wiring to the safety remote I/O module.
(1) 2 inputs
