
Mitel 5560 IPT User Guide
To redial a saved number:
1. Press
Left
or
Right
to select the handset/headset you want to use .
2. Dial the appropriate feature access code.
Note
: The left and right sides of the terminal have separate redial memories. For
example, if you dial a number using the right handset and then switch to the left
handset, you cannot save the right-dialed number on the left handset.
Handsfree Operation
The
Speaker
fixed function key turns Handsfree on and off. You can have one active call
on the speaker at one time. You can also have an active handset or headset call on the
other audio path simultaneously.
To use Handsfree to make a call:
1. Press
Left
or
Right
to select the handset you want to use.
2. Press your Prime Line key or any Line Appearance key.
Note that your administrator must program Line Appearances.
3. Dial the number.
4. Press
Speaker
.
5. To speak when the called party answers, do one of the following:
Press and immediately release
Microphone
to turn the microphone on
continuously
Press and hold
Microphone
to use the push-to-talk Microphone feature.
6. To switch between two active calls, see
Switch between two active calls
on page 30.
To use Handsfree operation to answer calls:
1. Press
Left
or
Right
to select the handset you want to use.
2. Press the flashing line key or float key.
3. Press
Speaker
.
4. Do one of the following:
Press and immediately release
Microphone
to turn the microphone on
continuously
Press and hold
Microphone
to use the push-to-talk Microphone feature
5. Begin speaking.
To hang up while using Handsfree operation:
Press
the
Release
key that is associated with the display that had the call (left or
right).
