Connecting to a fireplace
Misa also provides an extensive selection of non-insulated
connectors and similar, with which the chimney can be
joined to a fireplace.
A fireplace can be connected to the chimney with a
straight pipe from the top of the fireplace. It is
recommended that a smoke damper, product no. 19504R,
is used. In the event that the connection is to be located
behind the fireplace, a 90 degree elbow should be used.
Note the clearance requirements of the fireplace and non-
insulated connectors when connecting the fireplace to the
chimney.
Sweeping
The plug at the top of the chimney should be removed for
sweeping. The chimney should be swept in accordance
with applicable regulations. Sweeping can be conducted
using a plastic brush or similar.
Guarantee
The guarantee period is one year from the date of
delivery of the chimney. The guarantee is valid in
Finland. The guarantee does not cover malfunction
caused by incorrect installation and/or use that is in
breach with these installation and operating instructions.
