The front card-edge of the IRD-3101 incorporates two elements:

Status LED (see section 3.2)

Select Button (see section 3.3)

1.7 Physical Layout – IRD-3101 with optional CAM
The IRD-3101 consists of a base IRD-3101 card with an optional conditional access module (CAM).

The CAM is installed at the front of the card, so that the smart card can be inserted from the front of the Densité
frame.
