Colour mode
In addition to standard colour photos, alternative black and white and sepia
options are available, as well as underwater mode.
Exposure metering
As well as weighted, cross-field exposure metering, you can also choose the
option of a centre-weighted metering or spot exposure metering centred on
the middle of the image.
Sharpness
Choose between high, medium and low.
Colour saturation
Choose between high, medium and low colour saturation.
Recording with sound
Video is recorded with sound if set to “On”, and without sound if set to
“Off”.
Date/time stamp
The date and time can be captured on the video (“On”); alternatively, video
can be recorded without this feature (“Off”).
4. b) General settings
Press the capture button for a little longer in order to get to the general
settings menu from the video settings. You can then access further settings
options:
Screensaver
You can use this setting to specify how quickly the screen shuts down auto-
matically. The screen is displayed constantly if the “Off” setting is selected.
Setting the date and time
The date is entered as year/date/month. Please configure settings here.
Auto shutdown
You can use this to specify how quickly the camera shuts down automati-
cally if not in use, or whether it should remain switched on. Naturally, the
camera does not shut down automatically if the camera is recording a
lengthy video sequence.
Audio signal
Here, you can choose whether or not audio signals are emitted when the
buttons are pressed.
